We are not a booking platform. We are curators. Every experience we create begins with a conversation — about you, your guests, your occasion, your memories. From there, we build something that could only ever exist for you.

The Founder

A Life Spent at the Table

Amara grew up between Accra and London, raised by a mother who treated every meal as an act of ceremony and a grandmother who could transform a handful of spices into something that made strangers weep with recognition. Food, for Amara, was never simply nourishment — it was the language through which her family expressed love.

After a decade working alongside Michelin-starred chefs in Paris, New York, and Tokyo, she returned to London with a singular mission: to bring the intimacy and intention of the world's greatest restaurant kitchens into private life. Saffron & Co. was born in her own dining room, with twelve guests and a menu she'd been designing in her head for years.

Today, Saffron & Co. curates experiences across four continents, working with over 40 Michelin-starred and critically acclaimed chefs. But the guiding principle remains unchanged: every table we set should feel like the most important one in the world.

2019

The First Table

Saffron & Co. is founded in Amara's Notting Hill dining room. Twelve guests. One unforgettable evening. A concept is born.

2020

The Supper Club Launches

The Saffron Supper Club opens its doors — a monthly gathering of curious palates, exceptional chefs, and extraordinary food.

2021

Luxury Meal Kits

Responding to a changed world, we launch our luxury meal kit service — bringing our chef partnerships directly into people's homes.

2022

Dubai Expansion

We open our first international operation in Dubai, curating private dining experiences for the Gulf region's most discerning clients.

2023

Michelin Partnerships

We formalise partnerships with seven Michelin-starred chefs across the UK, France, and Japan — a landmark moment for the brand.

2024

Food Travel Launches

Our food travel programme takes its first guests to Tokyo, Oaxaca, and the Basque Country — and sells out within 48 hours.

2025

100th Event

We celebrate our 100th curated event — a 20-course feast in a private Scottish castle, attended by 40 of our most loyal guests.
